A chartered accountant and credit-risk doctorate with over two decades across banking, oil & gas internal control, and enterprise risk. He holds a First Class B.Sc. Accounting from Bayero University Kano, an M.Sc. Finance from the University of Leicester, and a PhD from Universiti Utara Malaysia, having qualified as a chartered accountant (ICAN) in 2004. He leads the firm's control practice and authored its foundational text on ICFR.
